Dell has just been rewarded by the Chinese Shanzhai(= counterfeiting) community. Here it is, a clone of Adamo, one of the world’s thinnest (9.9 mm) notebook. To be convinced, just watch this video.

This one is equipped with an LED backlight LCD panel 11.6-inch 1366×768 against 13.4-inch for the original. Its outer shell is made with metal alloy. The keyboard is Chiclet-type not like the original one. It comes with two configurations:

Entry Level: ATOM N450 1.66GHz, NM10 Intel chipset, graphics card Intel GMA 3150.

High-End: Intel Celeron 1.20 GHz SU2300, Intel GS45 chipset, Intel GMA X4500 graphics card with HDMI output.

The two versions have in common: 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and a battery of 3 cells.

Real Dell Adamo starts from 1500 to 2500 euros. The entry level clone costs $260 and the High-End one costs $340. Just Make the division :)

Actually this clone has a little to do with the real Dell Adamo, the copy is more than anything a netbook despite the appearance similarities.
