The Taiwanese manufacturer Inventec has recently presented at Computex 2010 its new Android Internet mobile device. The design looks like an electronic dictionary with a full QWERTY keyboard, plus 12 short keys, a webcam and a mini USB 2.0.

The Dr.eye Mid is designed for students who would like to make search on Internet quickly. It is equipped with the version 2.1 of Android OS and it adopts a capacitive touch screen of 4.8-inch with a resolution of 800x400px. It has 128mb of RAM and 512MB of NAND Flash expandable via micro SD (16GB max). Its processor is from Marvell and runs at 624MHz. It comes in three versions which differ in functionality. Dr.eye MID N18 has WiFi, the N23 adds GPRS and Bluetooth, and the N31 a 3G connection. It measures 140.6 x 83.4 x 20.45mm and weighs less than 250g.

Inventec have not announced the price yet, but said that they will be available soon.
