Launched in October 2010, the Tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 has been sold to nearly 1 million units in just two months, so we understand that it has attracted some Chinese manufacturers. This is the Chinese brand Aishuo who succumbed to the temptation. Codenamed Aishuo A818, the tablet PC uses a Samsung PV210 (Cortex A8) processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512MB RAM and 4GB of NAND Flash. The tablet Aishuo A818 has a front camera, its 8-inch screen (7 inches for the Samsung) is resistive (too bad!). The Aishuo A818 embarks Froyo Android 2.2 and supports the flash 10.1 and 10.2.
The design resembles a lot to the Galaxy Tab though it is slightly different. On the side of the Chinese tablet PC, there is an SD slot, HDMI output, jack, a microphone and a USB port. According to tests, browsing seems faster than the iPad. Therefore, we regret even more the presence of a resistive screen.
